Change Management Consultancy
The principal activity of Finconcept is that of assisting organizations, both public and private, to introduce changes to the way in which they are organized and the way in which they do business. We go beyond traditional Business Process Reengineering, adopting an approach based around Business Process Design where the productive system is seen a s a continuous workflow process oriented towards the requirements of the end client and with a strong emphasis on empowerment of all involved in the productive chain to enable the birth of a culture of continual improvement.

A typical project involves the following phases:

The most complex of these phases is likely to be that of the bridging the gap between the current reality and the implementation of a change strategy plan and is achieved through an approach which sees all stakeholders, at all levels, involved in four phases. The core of these four phases is underpinned by a strong awareness and application of the principles of lean thinking and the centrality of the end client.

At Finconcept we prefer to go that bit further to ensure that the investment made is consolidated through a truly critical analysis of the results achieved, a reassessment (after the closure of the project) of the changes implemented to ensure that old habits are not being reverted to and a companywide survey to identify new areas requiring improvement.

Project Leadership
Any project represents a series of opportunities for all of the participating partners and this is even more so when referring to transnational projects. However, just how often are we able to truly bring out the best in ourselves and in our partners during the delivery of a project? How often are chances for deep improvement overlooked or disregarded because we feel that there is not enough time or too few resources available? How often do we find ourselves repeating mistakes that we have already made in previous projects?

The formation of a solid project team is often a long and costly process and requires a set of specific skills and knowledge which is not always readily available. The creation and development of a project vision in which all partners are freely able to contribute to the vision and the definition of the project’s objectives, significantly help to break down traditional barriers that are often created by a normal business to business partnership where one partner provides a service to another.

Our service of project leadership helps any organization to overcome these gaps through the application of tools and methodologies designed to stretch a project team and help them overachieve. These services are scalable according to the importance of the project and can even be introduced once a project has started.

They include:
• Establishment of project vision (plenary and individual)
• Facilitating key project meetings
• Project coaching for key players
• Introduction of knowledge sharing tools
• Training in use of thinking tools

Project Design

All good projects start with a good project idea, but how that idea is communicated to decision makers will determine whether or not the idea goes beyond the design stage.  At Finconcept we use a series of tried and tested tools combined with years of experience of our staff to ensure that ideas and concepts are developed and expressed in the clearest and most succinct way possible. The result is a proposal presented in such a way as to ease the workload of the decision maker by ensuring that all the essential information is evident and by eliminating all doubts and grey areas.
Our experience has brought us to the understanding that there is a set of constant questions which need to be answered before putting pen to paper and this enables us to guide the necessary research in an extremely efficient manner. Thanks to the differing specializations of our staff, we are able to carry out research over a wide range of thematic areas in order to benchmark your project idea on a national and international level, allowing for the incorporation of improvements to the original idea. If required, this research can be extended to the identification of potential partners able to provide the expertise necessary for a solid presentation of the proposal to even the most exigent of decision makers.

We also have a great deal of experience in identifying sources of financing for project ideas and are familiar with a wide range of project presentation formats including those of many EU programmes.

Partnership Formation
Already got a project idea but lack the right partners to achieve the best results? Want to take an existing project to a transnational level but are not sure where to start?

Finconcept’s expertise in partner research can help you bridge the gap in an ever more globalised marketplace. We study your project with you and identify the requisites of the partners necessary for its successful implementation. We then carry out research in order to identify suitable partners based in the target countries. If desired, we are able to act on your behalf and approach possible partners with the project proposal and bring them to the negotiating table from where we can work towards a successful transnational project.
