MDC - versione 2.0 released

The latest version of the workflow coordination platform, Master Data Center, property of Finconcept.net, was released on 15 February. The platform was developed in partnership with the Department of Innovative Technology at University of Lugano (SUPSI), Switzerland. The platform is designed to help different workgroups belonging to different organisations work together on a single workflow process. MDC guarantees, in addition to high levels of data security, real time data for its users.

MDC’s first application was the automation of the request procedure for parents wishing to adopt children from countries other than Italy and was used by the juvenile courts, municipalities and health boards. During this initiative one of MDC’s principal characteristics, flexibility of workflow management, was highlighted when changes to the operators’ modus operandi were accommodated swiftly into the platform. Another fundamental feature designed into the platform is its simplicity and intuitiveness which makes it ideal even for users with poor knowledge of IT tools.
