Researchers for Handmade Creative Thinking
Finconcept.net has been selected as official researchers for a project aimed at developing a prototype thinking tool for use by handicraft workers and VET trainers and trainees to improve their problem solving capability. The tool was originally developed by Capturearts, London to stimulate and maintain the creative impulse in young children and the major challenge will be that of transferring the tool to very different contexts, both professionally and geographically. The project Coordinator is CESIE, Palermo and involves another Italian partner, Seneca, Bologna as well as a Partner from Malta EuromedConnect. The project is funded by the EU under the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme – Transfer of Innovation.
Finconcept’s role will be that of conducting research into the existence of such tools and the possible markets for them. In addition, Finconcept will provide product development support in order for the prototype to help reduce the time to market for the final product. The next major project event will be centred around the analysis of data obtained from 8 focus group workshops and will take place in London in late June.
